ACTIVITIES IN 2020

We hope that you are all doing well in spite of the coronavirus challenges and restrictions.
In 2020, we celebrated 40 years of fundraising for the Heart Foundation of Jamaica and a number of other charities. Our first fundraising event took place on 29th November 1980, at the Labour Hall in Edmonton, North London. We had planned to mark this achievement in some way at each event throughout the year.
As 2020 progressed, we realised that the coronavirus pandemic would reduce our options for fundraising, with one in four people on the planet facing some form of severe restriction on their movements. It was inevitable that this would impact on us. We had to re-imagine our fundraising activities and as they would say: we had to “turn our han” (learn new skills). We went online.
